Kitchen Table Studio 

Betsy Marmet has been a creative and artistic spirit all her life.  From finger-paint to paint-by-numbers at a young age - to trompe l’oiel, decoupage, and oil paints as an adult, she has always found peace in painting.  A Parsons trained designer, she has created interior home spaces and designed two award winning restaurants.  But she has always loved painting and cherished the creative visualization of her expressive eye.  Sitting down at her kitchen table during the isolation of the coronavirus pandemic, Betsy found a way to express herself and find comfort in capturing the beauty around her

on her island home.

Betsy has also always had a great love for animals and for many years has enjoyed painting portraits of them

for their human companions.  

 

During these stressful times, she hopes her art will bring

a small dose of color and cheer to the lives of those 

who enjoy her style.

All paintings are custom designed and most are painted on 6 x 6 inch blocks and are priced at $400.
